Flexible enough for different cameras and both DaVinci Resolve editions — as long as the correct version and color-space setup are used.
Works with many camera systems
The PowerGrade can be used with footage from brands such as Canon, Sony, Nikon and other supported cameras. The important step is setting the Color Space Transform input correctly for the camera and log profile you shot with.
Match your source correctly
Before grading, adjust the Color Space Transform node to match your footage. For example, Sony S-Log3, Canon Log, Nikon N-Log or another supported gamma and gamut combination.
Free & Studio versions
The package is designed for both DaVinci Resolve Free and DaVinci Resolve Studio. Use the PowerGrade version that matches your Resolve edition.
Studio-only nodes
Some tools and nodes used in the Studio PowerGrade are not available in the Free version. If you use DaVinci Resolve Free, use the included Free-compatible PowerGrade version instead.

Camera choice, exposure, white balance, lighting, lenses, codecs, bit depth, recording settings and the original scene all play a major role in the final grade. Think of the PowerGrade as a professional framework you can shape around your own footage, rather than a filter that produces identical results on every clip.
