Where can I use
the LUTs?

The included LUT files can be used in supported software that accepts standard .cube LUT files.

Compatibility applies wherever standard .cube LUT files are supported. Use the version that matches the footage you are working with.

Note

The correct source transformation or colour-managed workflow may still be necessary depending on the camera and recording profile. Sony S-Log3 and Canon Log footage, for example, should be normalized appropriately before applying the creative LUT where required.

Camera / color space

Your camera still matters.

The LUT's can be used with footage from many different camera systems, including Sony, Canon, Nikon, Panasonic, Fujifilm and others. However, different cameras use different gamma curves, gamuts and recording profiles.

For the best results, your footage should be transformed or normalized correctly before the creative LUT is applied.

Good to know / Results

A look is only part of the image.

The included LUT's are designed to give you a strong creative starting point and make your workflow faster. However, they cannot guarantee that every image will look exactly like the examples shown on this website.

They are creative tools — not one-click fixes for every shot.
